In my reading, I notice that the author Rebekah states that college students are joined together by their age, pop culture, and their shared interest at getting a degree. I also agree with this because I noticed that this is a shard interest among my college culture as well. I also notice the similarities we had. I really liked that she explained that there is a class for all freshman that introduces them to college life, and explains to them how college life will be conducted. I also experienced something like this when I was a first semester freshman this past fall. Their was a class called college success that had the same qualities as the class the author talked about. From this interpretation, it made me realize that some aspects about college stays the same as well as change. The way college was perceived is a little different form back in the day, but there are still some factors that still apply to college life today, like the social norms, the common interest, and the classes that are set of for first year students.
